Settings at a Glance

Last updated Sep 1, 2026

Settings and duties only — no judgment calls, no exceptions. This is not a summary of the rules; the rules start in the next category.

Game setup: your commissioner sets quarter length, difficulty and game style, and posts them where your league keeps its settings. Common league standards are 6-minute quarters, Superstar or Hall of Fame difficulty, and Simulation game style with fatigue and injuries on. Whatever your commissioner has set is the setting — match it exactly before you jump ball.

Every game runs on one attempt. No restarts, no reloads, no re-rolling a bad opening quarter. Play it, live with it, log it.

Log: one GM logs the final score after the game. Your opponent sees it and can raise a dispute flag if the number is wrong. Games nobody logs sit against the pacing deadline and can carry a fine — see Legacy Points & Discipline.

Box score: attach the Team Comparison screenshot to a played game when you have it. It settles the stats and it settles home vs. away.

Anything this card does not cover: see Playing in Good Faith.
